Abuja, Nigeria – (African Boulevard News) – Burnley FC is reportedly facing uncertainty in their attempt to sign Nathan Tella to a permanent contract. After Tella’s exceptional performance on loan for Burnley, the club’s investor, JJ Watt, revealed the club’s attempt to make the loan move permanent.

However, the club is now facing hurdles in their attempt to tie Tella down to a permanent contract. It is understood that his parent club, Southampton, is reluctant to part ways with the young winger.

As Burnley tries to convince Southampton to let go of the talented player, Tella’s future remains uncertain. With his contract set to expire at the end of the upcoming season, Southampton holds all the cards in negotiations.

Despite Burnley’s initial interest in Tella, it now appears that they may have to look elsewhere for a permanent winger as the negotiations with Southampton remain a challenge.

Football experts have weighed in on the situation, with some side-eyeing Burnley’s approach in negotiations while others questioning Southampton’s reluctance to part ways with their young prospect.

One expert said, “It’s understandable that Burnley wants to tie down Tella to a permanent deal. He’s proven to be a valuable asset to the team during his loan spell. However, it’s all about negotiations, and it seems the talks between the two clubs are not going as planned.”

Another added, “Southampton is well within their right to hold out for the right price for their player. Tella is a young prospect with a bright future ahead of him, and they may not be willing to let him go for less than he’s worth.”

With the clock ticking on Tella’s current contract, both clubs will have to come to an agreement soon. It remains to be seen if Burnley will be able to successfully navigate the negotiations and secure the young winger’s services on a permanent basis.

In the meantime, Tella continues to focus on his football, hoping that his performances on the pitch will convince both clubs to come to a mutually beneficial agreement.
