Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast – (African Boulevard News) – Ivory Coast’s current ruling party, the RHDP, signed a partnership agreement with the opposition FPI party, led by Pascal Affi N’Guessan, on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2023. The agreement is aimed at fostering national reconciliation, social cohesion, and democracy in the country after years of political turmoil.
The signing ceremony took place in Abidjan, Ivory Coast’s commercial capital. Several prominent figures from both parties were in attendance, including President Alassane Ouattara, Vice President Daniel Kablan Duncan, and FPI Secretary General, Assoumane Bakayoko.
