Accra, Ghana – (African Boulevard News) – Bismark Kobi-Mensah, head coach of Accra Great Olympics, has emphasized the need for his team to maintain consistency in order to avoid relegation from the Ghana Premier League this season. Speaking to African Boulevard News, Kobi-Mensah acknowledged that his team’s performance has not been up to par, but remained hopeful that the players can turn their fortunes around in the remaining matches of the season.

Consistency has been a major challenge for Great Olympics this season, with the team winning only three of their fifteen matches played so far. Currently sitting in the relegation zone, Kobi-Mensah believes that his players must put in a more consistent performance if they are to avoid relegation at the end of the season.

“We need to be more consistent in our performance if we want to avoid relegation,” Kobi-Mensah said. “Our players have shown flashes of brilliance, but we need to maintain that level of play throughout the entire season. We cannot afford to drop points if we want to stay in the league.”

Kobi-Mensah also noted that the absence of fans in the stadium due to COVID-19 restrictions has had an impact on his team’s performance. “Not having fans in the stadium has affected our players’ morale,” he said. “We rely on our fans for support, and not having them there has been difficult for us.”

In addition to maintaining consistency, Kobi-Mensah believes that his players need to improve their physical condition in order to compete at the highest level. “We have some talented players, but they need to be physically fit in order to perform well,” he said. “We are working on improving their fitness levels so that they can compete with the best teams in the league.”

Despite the challenges facing Great Olympics, Kobi-Mensah remains optimistic about the team’s chances of survival. “We still have a long way to go in the season, and anything can happen,” he said. “We just need to stay focused, work hard, and take things one game at a time.”

In conclusion, Kobi-Mensah’s emphasis on consistency and physical fitness highlights the challenges facing Great Olympics this season. However, his optimism and commitment to turning things around bodes well for the team’s chances of survival. With the right attitude and approach, Great Olympics can avoid relegation and secure their place in the Ghana Premier League for another season.
