    Addis Ababa, Ethiopia – (African Boulevard News) – A senior official of Ethiopia’s Amhara ruling party has been shot dead by unknown gunmen while on his way back from an official visit to the region. The communications office of the region said the attack occurred approximately 250km (155 miles) north of the capital, Addis Ababa.

    According to a statement released by the communications office, Girma Yeshitla was ambushed on April 28th while returning from an official visit to the area. The identity of the gunmen and their motives remain unknown.
