    Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso – (African Boulevard News) – The TotalEnergies U-17 Africa Cup of Nations 2023 has come to an end with Senegal emerging as champions. Despite the disappointment of not making it to the final, Burkina Faso’s head coach Brahima Traore says he is proud of his players.

    Burkina Faso’s U-17 team competed in the tournament with determination, fighting hard against their opponents. In the semi-final match against Senegal, they lost 5-4 in a closely contested game. Traore acknowledged that it was a tough game and that his team gave their all. “I am proud of my boys. They played well and did their best. It is not easy to go up against a team like Senegal. They fought till the end, and I can only commend their efforts,” he said.
