Lilongwe, Malawi – (African Boulevard News) – The 2022 TNM Super League champions, FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, have taken the lead of the 2023 season, after four games played of three wins and a draw but are separated by a goal difference as they share ten points with Silver Strikers and Mighty Wanderers.

FCB Nyasa Big Bullets’ fans welcomed the news eagerly, particularly following the team’s outstanding performance in last year’s Super League season. They are hoping their team will keep up its current form and hold on to the top spot in the upcoming games.

The other two teams who share the top spot with the Nyasa Big Bullets, Silver Strikers, and Mighty Wanderers, are on the same points with the defending champions. The Wanderers and Silver Strikers have each won three of their four games so far, making the league table more interesting as each game counts to the final outcome.

Namazingo FC, who were promoted from the lower league last season, are at the bottom of the table with three points so far and have a lot of catching up to do. They lost three out of their four games played so far, hoping for a change in fortune in the upcoming games.

The current standings have given fans hope of a more competitive and entertaining season, as all teams seem to be reasonably matched in terms of skill and goals. It’s also worth noting that the teams’ strategies and resilience will play a crucial role in their chances of winning the league.

Speaking about the current league standings, Nyasa Big Bullets coach, Calisto Pasuwa, said, “We have started well, but we need to keep working hard. Our goal is to retain the championship, and we will do everything to achieve that.”

In conclusion, the Malawi Super League is heating up, and it’s something fans cannot afford to miss. The league is still in its early stages, and with 24 games per team, there’s a lot to look forward to. African Boulevard News will continue to cover the league, bringing you the latest updates and scores as they happen.
