Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Mahmoud, Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, spoke on the support offered by Qatar to the Sudanese people. The Egyptian Minister of Health, Hala Zayed, expressed the country’s commitment to offering support to Sudan as it battles the COVID-19 pandemic. She added that this assistance is only the beginning of a series of medical aid packages and that Egypt would continue to support Sudan throughout these challenging times.
