One such advocate is Jasmine Ndiaye, a third-year medical student at the University of Cape Town. Jasmine believes that increasing diversity in the organ donor pool is crucial to address the inequities that exist in organ transplantation.
“We need to actively encourage people from all walks of life to become organ donors. By diversifying the pool of donors, we can increase the chances of finding a compatible match for patients in need,” Jasmine stated.

They have also been collaborating with established organizations working in the field to reach a wider audience and maximize their impact.
