“We have learned that there are two students from Tanzania who were in the affected area of south Israel during the Hamas attack. We are extremely worried about their safety and are doing everything we can to locate them,” said Ambassador Kallua.
The attack, which took place in the city of Ashkelon, resulted in multiple casualties and widespread destruction. The Tanzanian students, whose identities have not been disclosed, were in the area at the time and have not been heard from since the incident.
