The festival’s murals varied in themes from social and political messages to cultural and historical references. Some murals depicted Moroccan landscapes and traditions, while others highlighted social issues such as climate change and human rights.

One of the festival’s standout murals was created by Moroccan artist, Sinae, who painted a portrait of the late Moroccan singer, Nass El Ghiwane, on a building in the heart of the old city. Speaking to African Boulevard News, Sinae revealed that the mural was a tribute to the artist’s contribution to Moroccan music and culture, adding “The mural brings Nass El Ghiwane back to life in the city that loved him so much.”
